I don’t think anyone is if you compare it to the classic greats of the true GTR era.
im not a fan of the new skylines
Take the Jaguar XF now Jaguar has made the new XFR with a new engine and more improvments to sell more of the XF range. So it’s been improved by Jaguar and released as a new model like the Spec V, it does not mean it’s a tuned car it’s the same car made better by Jaguar. If someone else had done it then it’s classed as A TUNED car…
Your completley missing the point all car manufacturers tune there cars ALL of them to sell that model or more advanced models to MORE people. It’s not classed as tuned because it’s a NEW stock car of that series by the company. TUNING is after market sale when stuff is done to the car not under warranty or approved from your dealer or manufacturer, do you get it now? tuned by some garage who speacilise in improving performance on a stock car…
If you read it I was just SAYING not comparing as a FACT. New cars (or old)by a company is the LASTEST model of that range. Your saying the Spec V is a tuned version yes it’s tuned by NISSAN to make it BETTER and to sell more GTR’s it’s not taken independant TUNER and had the pervious stuff updated EVEN further.THATS TUNING FFS…
quoting a comment of yours on page 3, you cant compra stock bmw´s vs m5, and gtr vs spev gtr, because GTR always has a specV version, its not a new model or a diferent model, m5 is a model specV is a tuned model, is it that hard to assimilate?
And, vspec or specv, are tuned nissan skylines, whether that fits your ideal of tuning or not.
So, in your opinion, the manufacturer can´t, himself tune a particular model? quite a square you´re turning out to be mate.
Thats for racing totally different this is not a rally car this a production car not a car altered for racing…
So your saying every car made after the last is a tuned version? say a GT2 is tuned 911 Turbo no it’s the next VERSION of the last model weather the tune it or not is upto them… TUNING is after market sale when you buy the car and take it ELSE where to get the WHP improved or suspension upgrade or AERO packs thats tuning…
Tuned means not by the Production maker…
So, in your opinion, no rally car is a tuned car because it never went to a tuner, right?
What I don’t know huh? the Spec V is a stock release car it’s not tuned because it never went to a tuners so how do I not know what I’m talking about?

How not when the Base GTR 2010 now does 7:26.7 around the nurb…
A car is only a mod car when say an BMW M5 leaves the factory then goes to a tuners and have the engine and body overhauled then it becomes a mod car…
